Geckos have feet that contain tiny fibers called spatulae which allows them to be able to stick to ceilings and walls. Keller Autumn, mimicing this trait that gcekos have, a new adhesive that can hold up to a pound of weight and gets even stronger after every use.

George de Mestral was the inventor of velcroe. He was on a hunting expedition and walked through burdock thistle. While taking them off his dogs fur he decided to take a closer look. After many failed attempts he finally registered his product in 1958. It is used in the Navy and Marine on 98% of all flight equipment.

Mercedes-Benz tried to design the lightest, toughest, most aerodynamic, fuel efficient car model. It was inspired by the way the boxfish is shaped. Its "boxy" shape it doesn't seem to be very aerodynamic although this fish is also shapped very streamlined like a raindrop, which makes it very aerodynamic.

Could this be the replacement for stitches? This adhesive is elastic, transparent, non-toxic, and is similar to the Sandcastle Worm's secretion. According to a study, this material breaksdown in the body harmlessly because it's made of the same elements in our own bodies as well. This could help fix heart issues as well.
